Sucks. Once again I have trade away a top 50 player for garbage. Also I don't know anyone else caught the game last week where aramamsda gave up not one but two home-runs to the garbage soxs to blow the save. Dan Haren may you finally reach your deserved Cy Young status you have been reaching for in last five seasons. Kurt eat shit and die. Joe, we've already had this discussion but I'll repeat it on here so the rest of the league can get the complete perspective.

You wanna sit there and bitch about the trade, that's fine. But let's get the facts straight. You had been shopping Haren around all year - and justifiably so. You, by the luck of the draw, drafted an ace pitching staff. No one could have predicted that Liriano would regain his 2006 form and you got him in God knows how late of a round. But that doesn't even matter.

So as this trade went down I brought up to you for what was probably like the 6th time, 'who do you want for Haren?' At that point you said the only player you wanted was Rajai. At the time Rajai was on fire, hitting well and leading the league in steals. As my primary speed guy I didn't want to give him up but that's how it goes when doing trades. After you had established that the task was figuring out another player to make it even. I looked at your team and noticed that you only had one active closer, K-Rod who in my opinion kinda is not so good (2008 was 2 years ago) Anyway, I said to you, I'll give you Rajai and you can pick a closer between Aardsma and Cordero, who at the time were both on fire and ranked in like top 30. You opted to go with Aardsma, which makes me think you're racist because he's white and Cordero is black, but that's another story. So there we had it. I got Haren, and you got Rajai and Aardsma.

Now just yesterday you start bitching at me about the trade and how I'm a douche and all this. I find it funny that it comes right after Haren pitches a gem. Well Joe, that's going to happen. Haren is good, this is old news. The thing is, you weren't bitching after the start before that... Why? Because he gave up 7 ER's. This again is besides the point.

The point I'm trying to make is that before the trade, Rajai and Aardsma were both on fire and both rated in the top 50. At the same time Haren was ranked somewhere in the 200's (after his 7 ER effort it was the 300's) So at the time of the trade the value's matched up and because of your strong SP and lack of a 2nd closer, you got help where you needed it and I got a good SP, an area I needed.

If after the trade Rajai has started slumping, that's not my fault or the fault of the trade, that sort of thing just happens. Also, you are essentially calling Aardsma garbage because he blew a save. Well, Joe, except for Brad Lidge in 2008, closers are going to blow saves here and there. Aardsma is still a beast and the best closer you have because K-Rod sucks.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I more than anyone know first hand about trading for a player who's hot only to have them fail at life once they're on my team.

In 2008 I traded away Hanley Ramirez to get Edinson Volquez. Up unitl the point I got him, was sick. He had like 10 wins, a whip under 1.00 and and ERA under 2.00 - and that was all the way up to the break.

As soon as I get him on my team he completely unraveled. He Lost like 75% of his remaining starts while inflating his whip and ERA.

Hanley went on to be Hanley.

I try to read everyones posts, i dont discriminate. I do however feel like i am back in high school, this is wayyyyy to much fucking drama for a fantasy baseball league. I dont speak for everyone but this shit is getting ridiculous. Just either slug it out, trade each other everyone on your teams' in a 50 player mega deal or just shut the fuck up and keep to yourself...kev for one let shit slide...way to be the bigger man out of all of this. NTB Bread, i hate to say it but tough shit, it was a stupid ass trade on your part to trade haren for rajai and aardsman...i found it funny...and this is coming from someone who got utley for hamilton from bread last year.

Guys I obviously am not like everyone else in this league that is clear. Sorry Andy if I called you sad and stupid indirectly, for that I apologize. My point is I think Kurt could have made his point in less then 250 words. Personally I'm more long winded then anyone in this league, and if you actually know me I will talk forever and sometimes not even have a point. So when I open a post and its triple the size of a typical post I get sick to my stomach. If anyone wants to dress up as are favorite players and act out an actual baseball game with out playing physically, I'm game. That would be some fantasy baseball for you.

Also Kurt, this is me publicly letting anyone who gives a shit know that 40% of those posts I posted were me fucking around and am not even mad, so its not that serious. The other 60% of posts was me venting for being a push over and accepting Kurt's persistent nagging over a trade that I.
